A name or place entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. We do not keep or record those search terms on our systems.

We do not keep, assemble, or sell a database of personal criminal-record information. The published material identifies official channels for Carbon County records, including county courts, local police, the Pennsylvania State Police Central Repository, and the Pennsylvania State Police Megan's Law Public Website. Pennsylvania's Criminal History Record Information Act, 18 Pa.C.S. Chapter 91, governs criminal-history dissemination, while the Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law, 65 P.S. §§ 67.101–67.3104, governs qualifying agency-record requests and exemptions. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor data is not compiled into consumer reports or third-party criminal files.
